The next cleaning of our Adopt a Highway section of Hamilton Rd between Clark State Rd and Rte. 62 will be Sat. Aug. 23rd, 9 AM.

A few of our members who participated in the first cleaning can't make it this time, so if you want to help, reply to Sheryl after Aug. 8th. We will meet at the Peace Lutheran Church lower front parking lot.

Nancy Garland hosts event for Gahanna Progressives

Location:
Woodside Green Park 213 Camrose Ct. Gahanna
When:
08/14/2008 - 6:00pm

Nancy Garland is hosting an event for us in Gahanna.

Aug. 14, Thursday, 6 PM at the Woodside Green Park Shelter.

This is an opportunity to talk to Nancy one on one and learn how her experience can benefit Gahanna if she is elected to the Ohio House of Representatives for our district, the 20th.

The Democratic Party plans to work hard this time around to take our district back from the Republican, Jim McGregor. If we can get a Democratic majority in the Ohio House, there is a better chance for the economic and social progress that is currently lagging in
Ohio.

At this gathering you can get more information on why to vote for Garland, beyond the fact she is the endorsed Democratic candidate.

As we are encouraging everyone to vote early/absentee, it is wise to get your information now so you are ready when early voting starts, Sept 30.

We are all encouraged to bring friends and questions.

If you have questions beforehand, contact her campaign at
